I would look in the yellow pages: http://yellowpages.goudengids.nl/search/refrigerated_transport.html
You didn't specifiy the city so this search is for the whole country, you can search for refrigerated transport and the city name to get something close to where the shipment is.
If you want to call these companies from the US, you'll have to dial 011 31 and then the given number without the leading zero.
There is a direct flight from Orlando - Amsterdam: MartinAir. Not too expensive, modern air crafts, good food, and for a small amount extra you have more space: www.martinair.com
In Schiphol (Amsterdam Airport) the railway station is in the hall of the airport. Twice an hour a train leaves to the Utrecht central station (09:14 09:44 10:14 10:44 etc), where you transfer to the train to Roermond (direction Maastricht). In Roermond take bus 78 to Vlodrop (direction Posterholt). This is about 3:30 travel for 200 km and will cost you 25 euro.
Visit www.ov9292.nl for complete trip from schiphol to the address in vlodrop you want to go to. If you have trouble reading the dutch, visit www.ns.nl (national dutch railways) for your trip to Roermond. Once there, take bus 78 and ask the chauffeur to warn you when you're in Vlodrop
yes it will and i suggest you dont because they are cracking down harder than ever. You can barely bring tooth paste on the planes
It's very easy to get around in Amsterdam by public transport. There are trains, trams and metro subways to take. Investing in a bike is worthwhile in Diemen as well, to get your groceries and just getting around town, because the public transport isn't cheap, especially on the short rides.
You easily can get from Diemen to the Amsterdam Fashion Institute.
Depending on where in Diemen you'll be staying, because it has 2 train stations, Diemen and Diemen-zuid (south). The Diemen-zuid has a trainline taking you to Amsterdam WTC, from there yo'll have to take the line 50 metro line to Isolatorweg, this one will stop a 5 minute walk from the Amsterdam Fashion institute.
For information on trains check the NS ( dutch railways) website, posted below and for the metro and trams, the organisation is called short GVB, also posted below for you.
Good luck. And you can always ask, a lot of people speak english and be willing to help you to get around. I used to take these lines to work for over a year. Good luck!!
I lived in Amsterdam next to the schepvaart museum...the ship museum. my favorite places to visit are vondel park, museum isle, rotterdam's bridge, the large skate park in the city center...try taking the train from amsterdam to Haarlem get off at the last stop in Haarlem and walk to the beach it is most beautiful. or visit zeeland (sealand), in the very southern tip of the Netherlands, I travelled there by train, then by bus, get off and go spulunking in your clogs, there's even an old outlook that overlooks the entire town.
den haag and utretch are ok but i recommend taking the train east...to Enschede...its an older town, quiet but there are beautiful country gardens and parks that are tranquil. i loved it there. oh, and visit Gronigen...the northern most tip of the country, the tide and ebbs flow.
good luck.
You gave lot of background information but did not indicate if you wanted to work in the same industry or change.
If you want to continue in the shipping industry, Erasmus is your choice.
Logistics and operations management is broader in scope and can apply to almost any industry that has logistical needs. The broadest scope is in Tilburg's program.
HAN's program focuses on Europe and if that is where you want to be, it would be a good choice.
To sum up, pick the one that matches your career ambition and talent. Good luck!

It does depend on where exactly you are going from to (I mean the address and whether it is a station or whatever).
Assuming you are going from Utrecht Centraal (railway) station to the centre of Waalwijk then you will need to travel as follows:
Take train heading Eindhoven, get off at Den Bosch ('s Hertogenbosch) - takes 30 mins
Walk 6 mins to Den Bosch Centraal Station
Take bus 137 heading Tiburg, to Waalwijk - takes 31 mins
You will need a train ticket - single way costs €7.90 (or €4.90 with a discount card which you can get if you are doing a lot of train travel in NL) and a bus ticket which costs €2.76 if you buy a strippenkaart (15 strip card)
You can get the exact details for yourself on the following site which is in Dutch but pretty easy to use http://www.9292ov.nl/
EDIT - Hi Willeke - you beat me to it!!!! (we were typing at the same time again! :0)
you have to take the train to Leiden, the keuken hof is in Lisse but they don't have a trainstation. so you take the train to leiden and from there you take the 54 bus that takes you to the park.
from Heerlen it is 3 hours of a train ride and it will cost you 23.50 round trip on a saturday i looked for you on www.ns.nl you can go there and see for yourself and fill in when you leave and such
good luck and lots of fun i must warn you it's easter weekend and it will be very very crowded but it's worth it, i am going myself got some free tickets.
You have about 12 days, for 4 towns, that is 3 days per town, take away the time you will spend getting from one to the other, and you keep 2 1/2.
That is not enough for Paris, nor for Barcelona and Madrid. The only place you could cut is Avignon, (it is smaller) but as you are there for New Years eve, several museums and such will be closed. (I am not sure but would be surprised if everything is open.)
But it is what you have so you will have to do with it.
(Do not try to add more towns, as you have a buzy schedule already.)
If you are not bend on seeing France as well as Spain, just go to one, spend more time in the big town (say 4 or 5 days, and spend the rest in smaller towns where you will have the change to go for a hike.
Buy a good guidebook, (Lonely Planet: Western Europe or France and Spain) and book hotels from the book.
This is holiday time in Europe too, so book ahead.
2* or 3* hotels are more likely to have personality, 4* hotels have good standards but tend to be more uniform.
In Paris, Barcelona and Madrid use a bus tour, (maybe a hop-on hop-off bus stopping at all famous sights,) and do all of them in one go.
If you want to go to the big museums, (Louvre, Prada) be there at opening time on your second day in town, you will be fresh and the crowds will be less and the lines outside the shortest.
Make a list with the (other) museums you want to see, and make sure that you will have time to go there. Many sights in Paris have long opening times, (often to well into the evening,) so check all opening times before you make your plans for the day.
Take your last (half) day to wander round, get of the main boulevards and see the little side streets.
About language, if you smile when you come in, say Bonjour (good day) and if you know a few more French words, try them, but if you speak slowly and clearly most people in Paris are willing to help you.
I do not speak French but I have been traveling in France for many times, never met a rude person. I did meet some people embarrest because they could not speak a language I could understand, but I always found that trying helps a lot.
If you get stuck, have them write it down, often it helps.
What a totally unfeasible idea! Block off the English Channel, The North Sea and all the rivers that run into it from both sides - I suppose you could put all the illegals to work on it - at least that would keep them occupied for the next few centuries.
lets see, being from germany i can maybe give u a few idea of what is worth seing. depending on when you go i would definately suggest kindyrdyk and keukenhof in holland/netherlands, if u go in the spring that is so u can see the flowergardens, it is beautiful,, and to see the windmills. germany definately has a LOT of historical stuff to see, like the porta nigra ( gateway to the roman empire ) in trier, munich has a few castles. basically all along the 2 big rivers rhine/ mosel u can find castles in almost every city. the eltz castle is definatly something worth seing, i believe they actually still have some of the crown jewels on display there. i didn't see you mention france with the eiffel tower. hungary has a lot of history. not sure if or what poland would have considering what a poor country it is. greece also is loaded with good food and history. another site worth going to in germany r the conzentrationcamps like dachau, you will NEVER forget those. also you could go to france or belgium and catch the ferry to go over to england. the nice thing in europe is that it is all very close together since it isn't really all as big as it looks. from germany to holland or belgium is only like a 2 hr drive, from ktown in germany u r only 1 hr away from france, maybe 2-3 from austria. also i have heard several times that turkey is worth a visit but i have never been there myself, but have several friends that go there every year.
hope this helps u a bit. have a wonderful trip
Assuming you are going all over the country and not just Amsterdam I have the following info for ya,
train is the best ways to get around the country, within a city or small place try a bicycle or bus. ther are also cabs available, but they are usually expensive bike rentals are cheapest, busses you have oto bus a card, and depending on how far you are going (zones) they stamp them for you. there are no sleeping cabins in the trains, the country is not big enough that it would be overnight. from Amsterdam to Arnhem for example is about 1.5 hours. people speak generally english, especially the younger crowd, students etc will probably also be able to help you best on the trainstations, but ofcourse the staff there can assist you aswell. there are stoptrains and intercity trains, use a stop train if you need to go to a specific place that is not major, otherwise use a intercity, it skips certain stations inbetween, where a stoptrain would stop(duh lol)
ok tourist attractions,
go to any VVV place, thats tourist information. (in the place you're visiting.
some of my own recomendations:
*keukenhof in Lisse (but only in spring)
* Burgers Zoo in Arnhem, the exhibitions are amazing they have a jungle, with free roaming birds and lizards, a desert with birds and other freeroaming animals and an ocean and a great safariwalk (boardwalk) its awsome best zoo for your money.
also in Arnhem, (walking distance from the zoo) is the open air museam, windmills, farmhouses and artizan crafts are shown, you go back in time when Holland really did live that way. its a great experience for kids and adult, they show how a windmill works(you can go inside) and they also show how paper was made from old rags, and printed, and you can but the prints there. definatly a YES!
* Madurodam in Scheveningen, shows you the whole country in miniature, they have maps in english so you know what you are looking at.
*Sheveningen also has a beach and a boulervard with little cafe's and souvernirshops and a real pier also.
Nijmegen is close to Arnhem, its a pretty city, old roman ruins and great old city shopping streets and museums
*Amsterdam seems to be the main attraction for toursist, but the ones above are sure worth it. if you go to amsterdam, check out maddam tussauds its awsome! also check out the Rijksmuseum for the art (Rembrant, Van Gogh)
*Efteling the oldest funpark in the country with fairytales and one of a kind rides, a few rollercoasters and a lot of fun for both kids and adults.
Any of the places I mentioned can be looked up online, for openingtimes and ticketprices and pictures. almost all siteswill be available in english aswell
for traininfo check www.NS.nl
check mapquest europe for distances between the places you want to go.
The police emergency number is 112

I don't know anything about the day pass, but there is a monthly pass option available for any specific route (for example, my fiance gets a monthly pass to travel from here to the next city where she works) - it will not allow you travel anywhere outside the route you pay for, however, and the cost varies depending on your route.
The 40% off year pass is also available, but I was required to show my residence permit when I applied for it. I doubt if you can get it on a tourist visa.
I would reorganize these paragraphs. Each one needs to start with a title sentence that will tell you what the paragraph is about. Never assume your reader knows what you're talking about just because it is an assignment. You need to write for someone who has just picked this paper up and has no idea what's going on. For example paragraph one could begin The Rhine River has become the Industrial Hearland of Europe due to the following factors: and then list a few reasons that you will discuss in the paragraph. After that explain each reason. Then move on to paragraph two.
The part about the land being fertile in the environmental damage paragraph doesn't quite get the point across either.
Reconsider how your paragraphs are organized. Each one should be a little speech explaining what the paragraph is about, followed by a neat explaination of each point.
I could re-write it for you, but that's not going to help you learn how to do it.
If it doesn't give aid and comfort to the enemy -the far left is not interested . If the blood being shed is the enemy -then the world is not safe according to liberals .Where was the outrage in the drive-by media the other libs when Nick Berg was so brutally beheaded ? They were saving it for AbuGhrabbe .
it would take any where between 2,500 and 9,000 i would say... because before i baught my warmblood i was lookin at sites, and there were a bunch that had some in different countries, and the cost to ship it over was between that.
* and just to let the person above me know, you don't have to be RICH to buy an expensive horse, because we're on the lower class of average, and we got a wamblood, it was less than 10,000 but anyways, it doesnt mean ur ich... it just means that ur priorieties r in a good horse, because we saved up for mine for a few years, then baught her... and we're not rich!
* sorry, i just needed to say that..
1 : a, for sure
2 : d
3 : d
4 : b

Tour in Belgium?
I have been in both Brussels and Brugge, I would say, select just one.
If you live in Eindhoven you will have more time to go and you can spend a weekend in Brussels when you have the time for it.
If you are visiting Europe and will not stay longer, I still think combining the two is a poor idea.
Eindhoven to Brugge takes 3:30 to 4 hours, depending on which connection, Eindhoven to Brussels just a little less, and from Brugge to Brussels takes an hour as well. But also realize that you need time from Brugge center to the station and from the station to Brussels center (or the other way round) and you will also spend time waiting for the train.
For the travel from Eindhoven to Brugge or Brussels or both you are likely cheaper off with a normal ticket or a via ticket if you want to go to both, ask at the station, I do not find a one day roaming ticket, (and if there is, it is likely to be more expensive.)
For train times, I think the Belgium rail planner is the best for you, available in 4 languages, including English:

Yes, of course they were
